About the Project
The Invest-In Project's inspiration comes from the more than 100 year legacy of Nonviolent struggle by Gandhi, Dr. King, and Cesar Chavez. It takes its name from the 1960 student sit-ins in the American South and seeks to create a society truly based on democracy and human rights by planting the seeds for a new Nonviolent movment. The Invest-In Project's program consists of trainings on "Human Rights," "Principles and Practices for Nonviolent Social Change" and "Organizing a Community." We also create other educational tools such as publications, brochures, etc. To request a training or to collaborate with the Invest-In Project, contact us at contact@investinproject.org.
